Summer Reading has started at the

Chicago Ridge Public Library.

You can sign-up to read or listen to books, magazines, or newspapers and get prizes.

Each Tuesday night we have a program at 7:00 p.m. We will be visiting a different continent each week and learning about different countries. We will cook a sample recipe from the country and play some local games. The first place that we went to was North America. We played North America Trivia Twister and made homemade salsa. It was delicious. This past Tuesday we went to South America. We learned some Zumba steps on the XBox 360 Kinect and we made cheese quesadillas. Teen Tuesdays are a great place to hang out with your friends and have fun at the library.

Crafty Fridays 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Reading Buddies Wednesdays @ 6:30 --Come to the library and read books and make crafts with a younger library patron.

Volunteer + Teen = Volunteen (you!!)

If you would like to help out at the library, sign-up to be a library volunteer. You can help make craft projects, decorate the library, make library marketing materials, and create book commercials.
